Wrote the sound-system for a commercial flight simulator, using C and DirectSound, re-writing the engine sounds and cockpit sound systems, and adding 3D sound, morse-code generation (for navigation beacons), a synthesised voice system, and integrated a speech-recognition system for voice control of aircraft displays.
Created a mapping / GIS system for flight simulation using C++ and OpenGL, with map-projections, photo images, vector data, and tactical information, with an emphasis on ease-of-use and expandability, to produce a solid system capable of handling new feature-demands with ease.
Developed simulation software using Windows API and C/C++, in a distributed system using shared memory and intertask messaging to run software over tens of networked PCs, and handling communication with Java/Linux systems in the same system
Developed the software on this website, including multi-user games in PHP/SQL, applications in Visual Basic, applications in Perl, and the advanced website- management tools (comments system, selectable stylesheets, links management system, etc.)
Created boot-loader system for embedded bluetooth system (both ARM-7 embedded code and PC serial-port client), and test-scripts for the migration of an embedded real-time operating system for set-top boxes
